Meet the Harmans
Harman Corgis is more than a breeding program—it’s a part of our everyday life.
We’re Leslie and Wayne Harman, and we raise Pembroke Welsh Corgis in the Texas Panhandle. Our dogs are part of our family, and the puppies we raise spend their first weeks surrounded by the people, dogs, sounds, and routines of daily life.
We know choosing a breeder means placing a great deal of trust in someone you may have never met. We want you to know who we are, where your puppy comes from, and the people who will be here to help you along the way.
A Life Built Around Animals
Animals have always been part of our lives. We live in the Texas Panhandle, where our family has deep roots in farming, ranching, and raising show pigs. Dogs, horses, cattle, and other animals have been part of everyday life for as long as we can remember.
Harman Corgis LLC grew from that life and a love for the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. After Leslie retired from teaching science for 24 years, Harman Corgis became her full-time focus. What began with wanting a Corgi of our own eventually became a breeding program centered around raising dogs that can become loved members of a family.
Today, our Corgis and puppies are part of our daily lives. Our dogs share our home and our routines, and puppies grow up surrounded by the everyday sights, sounds, and activity of family life. Our Corgis are also part of life on the farm and ranch, and some of our dogs still put their natural herding instincts to work helping with livestock.
