Frequently Asked Questions
Is a deposit required and is it refundable?
Yes. A $200 deposit is required to join the Harman Corgis waiting list and is applied toward the purchase price of your puppy.
When you commit to a specific litter, a $600 Litter Commitment Payment is due. An additional $600 payment is due when the puppies are five weeks old. The final $600 payment, plus applicable sales tax, is due before your puppy goes home.
If you need a different payment schedule, we’re happy to work with you. Please see our Waiting List Policy for complete deposit and refund details.
For complete details, please review our Waiting List Policy.
Why do you require puppies to be spayed or neutered?
Our pet puppies are placed as beloved family companions and are sold with AKC Limited Registration and a spay/neuter agreement as outlined in our purchase contract.
Responsible breeding involves far more than simply pairing two dogs. It requires comprehensive health testing, careful pedigree evaluation, thoughtful temperament selection, and a long-term commitment to preserving and improving the breed. Requiring pet puppies to be spayed or neutered helps ensure that future breedings are planned with the same level of care and responsibility.
Research also shows many health benefits to having pets spayed or neutered.
Why don't you charge more for certain colors?
Our focus has always been on health, temperament, and finding the right match for each family—not on marketing rare or fashionable colors.
For that reason, our pet puppy pricing is the same regardless of standard coat color.
Why are male and female puppies the same price?
Both males and females receive the same thoughtful breeding, early development, veterinary care, socialization, and lifelong support.
Rather than pricing puppies differently based on sex, we believe every puppy deserves the same level of thoughtful breeding, veterinary care, early development, and support.
Understanding AKC Limited Registration
Most Harman Corgi puppies are placed as beloved family companions with AKC Limited Registration.
AKC Limited Registration means your puppy is a purebred, AKC-registered Pembroke Welsh Corgi, but any offspring cannot be registered with the AKC and the dog cannot compete in AKC conformation classes. Your puppy may still participate in other eligible AKC events and activities.
As outlined in our purchase agreement, pet puppies are required to be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age recommended by your veterinarian. This policy reflects our commitment to responsible breeding and to thoughtfully preserving the health, temperament, and future of the breed we love.
If you’re interested in breeding or showing, we’re happy to discuss whether a full registration placement may be appropriate.
Full Registration
Full AKC registration is considered on a very limited basis for approved breeding or show homes that share our commitment to health, temperament, and responsible breeding practices.

Adult & Retired Companions
From time to time, we place older puppies and retired adults into carefully selected homes. Placement fees vary depending on the individual dog, age, level of training, and circumstances.
Our goal is to find the right fit for both the dog and their future family.
