The First Step
The first step to getting on our wait list is to complete our Getting to Know You Form.
After we review your form, we’ll contact you to schedule a short phone call. This gives us an opportunity to answer your questions, learn more about what you’re looking for, and discuss upcoming litters.
You’re also welcome to call us if you have questions about Harman Corgis or our policies.
Things to Know About the Waiting list

Waiting List Order: Your position on the waiting list is determined by the date we receive your waiting list deposit. This order also determines puppy selection order.
Estimated Timeframe: During our phone call, we’ll give you an estimated timeframe for when you may expect a puppy. Please understand that this is only an estimate. We cannot control heat cycles, pregnancy, litter size, or the sex and colors of puppies born.
Refunds: If we are unable to provide a puppy that meets your preferences within the estimated timeframe, you are entitled to a full refund of your waiting list deposit. If you choose to leave the waiting list for another reason, your deposit will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee to cover payment processing and administrative costs.
Waiting List Deposit: A $200 deposit is required to join our waiting list and will be applied toward the purchase price of your puppy. The deposit signifies your intent to move forward with purchasing a Harman Corgis puppy.
Transfers: Your position on the waiting list may not be transferred to another person, including friends or family members.
Preference Changes: We understand that plans and preferences can change while you are waiting. Please let us know if you need to update your preferred timeframe, sex, color, or other puppy preferences.
Length of Time on the Waiting List: Your waiting list deposit remains active for up to three years from the date it is received.
Puppy Pricing: You are grandfathered into the puppy price range that was in effect when we received your waiting list deposit. If we repeatedly offer opportunities for puppies that meet your stated preferences and you choose to pass, we reserve the right to move you to our current puppy pricing.
Committing to a Litter: When you commit to a specific litter, we understand that occasionally the puppies born may not include the right fit for your family. However, if you commit to three litters and choose not to select a puppy each time, we may determine that our program is not the right fit for what you are looking for and refund your waiting list deposit.
Right to Refund a Deposit: We reserve the right to refund your waiting list deposit if we determine that Harman Corgis or one of our puppies is not the right fit for your family.
Breeder Selection: We reserve the right to retain a puppy or puppies from any litter for our breeding program.
Communication: To be fair to everyone on our waiting list, we ask that you respond promptly to emails or text messages regarding possible puppies. We reserve the right to remove someone from the waiting list if they repeatedly fail to respond.
Staying in Touch During the Waiting Process
Communication is an important part of our program, and email is our primary way of staying in touch. Please provide an email address that you check regularly so you don’t miss important updates about your future puppy.
Preference Update
From time to time, we may send a quick email asking you to confirm or update your preferences. This helps us keep our waiting list accurate if your timeline, color preferences, or other needs have changed.
Monthly Newsletter
While you’re waiting, you’ll receive our monthly Harman Corgis newsletter with updates on our dogs, upcoming litters, educational resources, and behind-the-scenes news from our program.
Litter Availability
Litter Opportunities: Once the puppies are doing well and we feel comfortable moving forward, we begin contacting families whose preferences may be a good fit for that litter. The timing can vary from litter to litter because our first priority is making sure the puppies are healthy and thriving before asking families to commit.
Before committing to a litter, please carefully consider your schedule, finances, travel plans, and whether the timing is right for your family. If we contact you about a litter, please respond promptly to let us know whether you would like to move forward.
Joining a Litter List
Once you let us know you’re ready to move forward with a specific litter, you’ll be added to that litter’s list.
Litter Commitment Payment: When you commit to a specific litter, an additional $800 payment is due and will be applied toward the purchase price of your puppy. If you later move off that litter but remain on our waiting list, the $800 will be applied toward a future puppy. If you choose to leave the waiting list completely, the $800 will be refunded.
Final Payment: The remaining purchase price, plus applicable sales tax, must be paid in full before your puppy leaves Harman Corgis.
Waiting List & Payment Agreement: Families review and sign our Waiting List & Payment Agreement before joining the waiting list. This agreement outlines the complete payment schedule, payment options, and applicable processing fees.
At that point, you’ll receive:
- Access to the litter’s private webpage with updated photos and videos
- Puppy Preparation Series with information to help you prepare for bringing your puppy home
- Educational resources and guidance throughout the process
Puppy Selection
Each puppy receives a comprehensive veterinary examination at approximately six weeks of age, followed by our formal temperament evaluation at approximately seven weeks.
Once these evaluations are complete, we’ll schedule a private Zoom meeting with your family. Puppy selection occurs in the order families joined our waiting list.
During your meeting, we’ll discuss each puppy’s temperament evaluation along with our observations from watching the puppies develop over the previous weeks. We’ll help you understand the differences between the puppies and provide guidance as you select the puppy that best fits your family and lifestyle.
Waiting List Commitment
Our goal is to match every puppy with the right family while being respectful of everyone’s time.
Once you commit to a specific litter, we ask that you remain responsive to emails and other communications throughout the process. If we are unable to reach you after multiple attempts, we reserve the right to remove you from the waiting list. This allows us to plan responsibly for each litter and provide timely opportunities to other families.
